The Penobscot County Bar Association (PCBA) was founded in 1904 as a means of bridging the gap between Penobscot County’s legal community and the community at large. The PCBA has been integral in establishing what can easily be considered to be one of the most cordial and communal bars in the entire State.

The PCBA strives to bring its members together not only for communal and social enrichment, but for the purpose of legal growth as well. The organization donates time, money and resources to local charitable and educational causes and also provides continuing legal education to its members.
